Aphantasia Network is a community for people with aphantasia, which is a cognitive condition where people can’t visualise in their mind’s eye.
Tom, the founder, is protective about his direct marketing channels because his personal brand is tied to it. He’s careful to communicate with his audience without being too salesy or alienating anyone.
Their offer was a paid membership community and resources for people with aphantasia, as well as merchandise. But he wasn’t happy with the number of memberships he had.
